Now Open! Chamber Office for Small Business Support.
On April 27th, the Chamber launched the Chamber Office for Business support (COBS) in response to the growing needs of local small businesses for timely information and advice on how to grow and prosper. COBS, as a distinct operating unit of The Chamber, focuses on helping your small business by providing information and advice, opportunity and advocacy. The Small Business Council met for the first time as part of the COBS launch and drew a crowd of about 300. During the round tables discussion focused on issues relevant to small businesses; solutions and best practices; and numerous suggestions came forward. To keep the momentum going the Chamber will be holding another Small Business Council Forum prior to the summer break.
