New CEO at North End Community Renewal Corporation
On May 9th, Dawn Sands will start her new position as Executive Director of the North End Community Renewal Corporation. Dawn comes from an extensive background in economic development, her last post being Executive Director of the Thompson Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation. “I am excited and honoured for the opportunity to work with the board, staff and community in their efforts to realize NECRC’s mission and goals. Community led initiatives are fundamental to the success of neighbourhood revitalization. NECRC, with the support of its residents and partners, has shown strong leadership and resilience in their accomplishments. I look forward to joining the team and to what we will achieve together.”
